Inner Mornings, or Forms of Counterculture is the publication accompanying the group exhibition of the same name at the Falckenberg Collection, Hamburg-Harburg, curated by Emilie Houssa (Centre Claude Cahun), Dirk Luckow (Deichtorhallen Hamburg), and Goesta Diercks (Falckenberg Collection). Inspired by the life and work of artist and writer Claude Cahun (1894–1954), the exhibition explores diverse countercultural art practices. The publication is structured around alternating sections: essays in German, English, and French printed on uncoated paper, and expansive image sequences reproduced on coated stock, creating a tactile distinction between reading and viewing.
