The final publication in the collection is a re-edition of texts originally published for the International Symposium. It took place in November 2025 and marked the starting point of the 9th Triennial through a programme of talks, video lectures, and performances. The Triennial’s conceptual framework is informed by two central references: the 1948 cross-cultural collaboration between Nat King Cole and eden ahbez, which gave a global rise to the iconic song Nature Boy – a poetic and radical expression of ethics and love – and the reflections on human responsibility of philosopher Emmanuel Levinas. It brings together contributions by Wolfgang Kaleck, Mark Sealy, and Aruna D’Souza.
